Healthy Champorado
Transform your child's breakfast with this healthy champorado.

On cool mornings, especially during the weekend, champorado is a great way for your child to start the day. While the warmth of this dish is possibly the best part, the delicious chocolate goodness is a sure way to make sure your child finishes everything in his bowl!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown rice, oatmeal or barley
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (dark)
- 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup
- 1/2 cup of skim milk
Instructions:
- Combine brown rice and water in a small pot and bring to a boil for 10 minutes while stirring occasionally to keep the rice from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

- Reduce heat to low, and cover and stir occasionally.
- Continue cooking until the rice is tender for about 10 minutes more.
- Add milk and stir to combine.
