Rainbow Bubble Snake

There’s no better weather to blow bubbles than on a hot sunny day. Let your little ones explore colors in a creative way with this easy craft.

What you need:

• Empty plastic bottle
• A sock
• Duct tape/rubber band
• Bubble solution*
• Food coloring

What to do:

1. Cut the bottle’s bottom off.
2. Slide the sock over the bottle’s bottom, and secure it with duct tape/rubber band to make your bubble blower.
3. Drop food coloring onto the sock-covered end of your bubble blower.
4. Pour bubble solution into a shallow container.
5. Dip the sock-covered end of your bubble blower into the container.
6. Blow onto your bubble blower’s bottle end and watch rainbow bubble snakes appear!

*In case you don’t have bubble solution, simply mix the following in one large container:

• 5 gallons (19 L) of distilled water
• 10 cups (2.5 L) of regular dishwashing soap (avoid anti-bacterial)

CAUTION: Bubbles are for playing, not eating. Make sure your child does not ingest the mixture.
