Our Collage Masterpiece

Inspire young minds with creative collage activities for kids

Give your little one an exercise in teamwork by creating a collage with them. Take a moment to think of an experience you both love and assemble the scene using various pieces of colored paper.

What you need:

  • Short bond paper
  • Colored paper, old magazines, leftover gift wrappers, etc.
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil

What to do:

  1. Once you’ve nailed down the scene you both want to create (ex: your beach trip, her basketball game, etc.), help your child sketch it out. Make sure to leave wide, open spaces for you to fill in later.
  2. Cut or tear the colorful paper you gather earlier into small pieces.
  3. Paste these pieces according to color onto your drawing and slowly build your collage together.
